Look, I appreciate everything all of you are saying... its really great and all... but you guys... Lets leave religion OUT of livejournal okay? lets stop shoving our beliefs down one another's throats.... Cole has his beliefs... Eva has hers... I have mine... all of you have your own... Lets leave it at that... Sure, go ahead and write all you want about it in your entries... thats your personal stuff... but dont go and place your beliefs on another person who does not share them.

No offence to anybody, but an example is eva and Cole... no offence Eva, but you have a knack about just telling him constantly LDS ideals... Thats not good. Be a friend, comfort him... just leave out all the stuff that you and he dont share in common when it comes to beliefs okay?

Can we all do that? It would be GREATLY appreciated by ALL...

Man... havent gotten on here forever!
Lol... I wonder if Eva's list has one in there for me... perhaps... lol- probably the number eleven "I hate you" she left off...
(Sarcasm... lol, eva's great... the date was fun too!) (And PS Eva... my ice cream was like what? 100X better?)

Well, life has gotten interesting... I just got back from a week of EFY and seemed to come back to a crumbling life that is suddenly much better! lol... funny how it works out...

I was going to go and read all the posts i had missed since I last got on... but i realize now even if i go to the previous page, i dont think I have read any of those... so i'll just have to start on a clean slate... anybody- any major crisis', just fill me in okay?

I hope you guys are all okay... I check up on a few of you from time to time, but usually ya'll are really busy...

In response to your previous post, as I TOLD YOU IN OUR CONVERSATION that my Instant messagner was not working, adn I could ONLY send messages, as well as get teh first line ONLY of incoming messages... i told you this.... i had NO idea of what you said.

And by the way, thank YOU OH SO MUCH for reading waht I WROTE. I couldnt 'read' that because my Live journal was not working.

Secondly, I DO LISTEN TO PEOPLE- that is, as long as what they have to say acutally means something or has relevance....

(And im not saying you dont have relevance, and what you say does matter- but i could ONLY read teh first line of what you were saying... i had to guess teh rest...)

1. Recalls My livejournal was not working
2. Further emplores further regard that Due to this fact:
a. I had NO CLUE about Eva's birthday party and automatically assumed I was not invited
b. I did hear of her party, but since I was not invited- I had no reason to acknowledge that I knew of it: mainly to guarentee that I would not be 'guilt tripping' Eva or such b/c she didnt invite me
c. (Remember, now I know that I was)

3. Seeks the forgivness of Miranda and Megan- I didnt tell them about it because:
a. I didnt know I was supposed to until 5 mins ago (today is monday in computers class)
A_1 On a side note.... I think its dumb that y'all are blaming me for not telling them.... why didnt the REST OF YOU tell them? Its not even my fault....

Well, life is good for me, how about the rest of you? I just found out we have an MUN meeting right after school... (*exasperated horray*) i guess track will have to wait till tommoorw.... Shucks! (lol jk)

Speaking of track... do any of you know how awful and tiring it is? Wholly cow.... Eight miles... EIGHT OF 'EM! And if you stop to walk.... you run another one... Its awful!!! But hey, we're ordering our sweats... so its all worth it now... And all of you should join... cast off your video games and your couches and your playstations and your cheetos and your junk food and your pizza and your filth and your sluggishness, and rise up and run... After all, (this is a bonus) when you are sitting in class, being made fun of by the football player b/c you are on the 'weak' track team... you can reveal that "HEY, MY SPORT IS YOUR SPORTS PUNISHMENT!"

Well... I must admit to cole... his last entry was interesting... now it is Taylor's turn to write his messages... And originally... I did write something about my view on religion because Cole's thing really upset me... but I've decided that i wont put it in... of course if you want to know, lol, i'll email it to you... and in it, i will give you a very powerful promise...

And one thing i want to make clear to cole... this is NOT a war... If you make it out to be, You have already Lost...

Eva- My friend... you have done so much for me... I cant even begin to tell you... you have given me a light at the end of the tunnel when I was certain there was only Darkness.... I need to talk to you... soon ... And I'd need more then a minute... I have a story to tell you (you know what I'm talking about) plus... I need to thank you...

James- I dont know you James... I'm just gonna come right out... But I will admit, i have developed an admiration and trust in you... And I thank you for the note you gave me (that was your response to my question), And you would be amazed at how much that comforted me... And I am going to hold you to everything you said in there...

Jason- Again, I really dont know you very well Jason... but, as I do James, I would love to get to know you better... You always have been kind to me... and I will always be so thankful for that...

Danielle- Again, I realy dont know you all that well Danielle, but i would love to meet with you and get to know you... I have talked to you and i have felt your strong courageous spirit with your constant words of comfort...

Miranda- Ah... Well... Where to start... (lol i went through this with all your guy's too lol) Miranda, thank you for always being so supportive... I too need to talk to you... really badly... but I must thank you for being so kind to me, and always having a smile ready to comfort me in my moments of greatest pain and darkness... I was often thrown to my knees through the time i have gotten to know you... and no matter what... regardless of what was going on... You were there, with a hand outstretched, ready to pull me to my feet... I have a lot to thank you for... You are so amazing to me...

Cole- You are an incredible person Cole... And you have such a strong kindness that you outstretch to everybody you know... You are always there, ready to help, always ready to get out there and get your hands dirty for your friends... I know that over the course of our friendship, i have comforted you with my words of advice and such, but believe me, i think i have gotten more comfort by just knowing you are there for me then anything you could say to me... And Cole... we're allready brothers... Moreso then just in spirit... We're brothers under a common father... and I'm sorry we dont share the same view of him...

I have so much to thank you all for... You are so great... Now... If out of that list i had to pick a favorite friend... lol... I'd pick... Option I- All the Above...

Well... I just finished Pride and prejudice... what an amazing story...

Mr Darcy... what an AMAZING guy.... I just love him... he was always so my favorite... mainly I can relate to him a LOT more then I can ever tell ya...
Lol... I know... I know... you all think he was a proud guy who had no class etc. etc. etc., but I thought he was so great... and now... all the girls are going nuts over him... And crystal... all im gonna say is : I TOLD YOU SO! (Even though I’ve never said anything to you about it)

So for all of you who have yet to read it, I suggest it strongly, especially if you are done w/ English and have yet to read it.... It’s a ‘beautiful’ story...
And again... like I said... give Darcy a chance...

How are you all?

You guys are so great... Especially you Crystal! Yeah... you heard me right... I’m calling you great! And its US that are lucky to have you as a friend... You are so great!

Well... School is coming to a close (the tri, not school) (calm down cole, sorry to get your hopes up) ;) (the beards will have to wait) and no... none of you were supposed to understand taht....

Okay... well at Track today, I got really really dehydrated and I was all sick and dizzy and when I sat down my eyes went dark for like 15 mins and I couldnt see, then I ran for a while longer and got even worse so I stopped...

Well... I was thinking... what would life be like if we were all living in another country... or in a communist society? Would we be friends? Would we be enemies? Would I be hosting a democratic simulation instead? (No jk on that one) it was just a thought, but one that was bugging me... I’d love to hear what you guys think....

And for those of you who wanna come... we have a stake dance on March 17 at my stake center... you are all invited, invite those you know... we can make it a group thing...

UN Peacekeeping in Disputed Territories
The Nation of Croatia strongly supports the sending of UN Peacekeeping troops into disputed territories, and agrees with the need for UN Peacekeeping. Croatia has had the benefit of over five UN peacekeeping operations within its borders since its independancy, and knows the necessity of such operations. Croatia sends troops and funding annually to these operations, in hope that peace may be more fully promoted throughout the world.
The Nation of Croatia strongly believes in the United Nation’s (UN) role when maintaining peace in any disputed territory. The Croatian government strongly supports the ongoing Peace-Keeping Operations carried out by the UN, and has contributed troops to these operations. “The nation of Croatia has contributed troops to over five peace keeping operations, and continues to do so. Currently troops are positioned in five different operations, in: Ethiopia and Eritrea, India and Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Timor-Leste and in Western Sahara”. (Mr. Stjepan Mesie, 58th Session of General Assembly).
The Nation of Croatia also strongly supports sending troops from respective nations to disputed territories to act as peacekeeping soldiers. Croatia has supplied troops so several peacekeeping missions and contributes money annually to the UN peacekeeping fund, and encourages other nations to do the same. Croatia is budgeting accordingly so they may send more money and more troops to the UN for peacekeeping operations. “Croatia feels that as a country that received UN peace-keeping forces at a time when its sovereignty and territorial integrity were attacked and as a country which hosted one of the UN's most extensive operations, it now has a obligation to contribute to securing peace and prosperity in other parts of the world.” Stjepan Mesie explained (58th session of General Assembly). Furthermore, Jasna Ognjanovac, a diplomat for Croatia, said that “Croatia had the rare experience of hosting over five peacekeeping missions and plans to allocate funds in next year’s national budget towards greater participation. Croatia understood how peace and security was essential for economic and social prosperity; it was ready to share its experience and extend its support for future efforts to reform peacekeeping operations.” (Fifty-Eighth Session September 23, 2003) Croatia currently also believes that reforms might make Peace Keeping Operations more efficient and more effective.
The Nation of Croatia has strong positive opinions towards the issue of UN Peacekeeping in Disputed territories for many reasons. Croatia, over time, had several peacekeeping operations going on within their own borders. Over five different operations occurred within and around their borders, and feels as if it has an obligation to re-pay the world for its kindness. At the same time, Croatia plans use its knowledge of how the Peacekeeping process functions, to make the necessary reforms. Croatia has gone through several peacekeeping operations, and deeply understands the faults and strengths within the system, and feels that their experience would greatly benefit the UN, and are proposing constantly necessary reforms. It wholly agrees with sending troops into disputed territories, and constantly agrees and supports Peace keeping operations.
Croatia believes several measures may be taken to increase cooperation between the UN and the involved parties in any conflict. Croatia believes that the UN needs to become more open to speaking with Non-Governmental organizations that may have the ability to ease the radical and illogical motives of some parties involved in any given crisis. “Also, enhanced cooperation between the United Nations and non-governmental organizations and the private sector remains a field for exploration. The benefits that the United Nations could gain from contributions from non-government organizations's and the private sector have been confirmed, and hopefully they will increase in the future... the voice of the civil society is strong and its role in today's world is indispensable” Tonino Picula, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the republic of Croatia, stated (55th session of General Assembaly). Croatia believes that if a Society in a nation agrees and clearly understands the benefits and the objectives of a peacekeeping force, then support and cooperation with any nearby peacekeeping force would greatly increase. But not only social cooperation is needed, but the UN needs to constantly have Political cooperation, because without political cooperation any peace mission will ultimately fail and will be a waste of lives and funds. But also stated by Tonino Picula is that a larger military presence is needed in any area in order to properly deal with any situation. However, no amount of troops can be expected to successfully carry out a peace mission by themselves. Most Peace Keeping operations are too militarily based to be able to deal with other more humanitarian areas of peace, such as things that are included in “nation building”. Meaning the process of rebuilding economies, and organizing new governments/government branches when necessary.
In areas where there is a large amount of aggression towards UN peacekeepers, several things may be done to relieve tension. The most obvious of these would be to take a more neutral position, in stead of supporting one side or another. The idea of neutrality is one that has always been upheld within the UN and must be upheld in all peacekeeping operations. The UN must also make known to the parties involved, that the UN is taking an unbiased position and will not in any way betray trust by taking sides. However, the UN must also understand that there might be times when parties involved will not listen or agree to any terms, and in those situations, must provide more even or understandable terms.
Croatia has plans that would better reach out to the public and change public opinion so that peacekeeping operations will be made large enough to be successful. These reforms are all factors that play into Croatia’s overall objective of needed reforms within the UN. Croatia believes that there are necessary changes needed within the Security Council which controls Peace Keeping Operations. The Nation of Croatia supports the Brahimi Report, which outlines these reforms within the security council. These reforms would allow other governments across the world to be more willing and open to support the UN and to embrace it’s ideals. The Brahimi Report outlines several things: it “requests UN member-nations to provide political, personnel, material, and financial support to UN peacekeeping missions, Clarifies what UN peacekeeping is trying to accomplish, what kinds of forces are required, and what conditions might necessitate different kinds of missions; and responds to concerns of many UN members - including the U.S. - that the UN does not have adequate management and financial systems to support the sharply increased number of peacekeeping operations and peacekeepers now deployed.” All of these points are clearly outlined in the Brahimi Report. Croatia would like reforms within the UN because of the increasing need for public support. Such reforms would greatly increase the world population’s support for the UN, and would also entice more nations to join the UN.
The Nation of Croatia, unlike some of the other respective Nations of the Eastern European Bloc, supports UN Peacekeeping in Disputed Territories, and continues to send funds to the UN as well as troops. Croatia plans to increase its contributions in accordance with it’s financial situation in the future. Croatia supports the UN and agrees with the objectives and aims of Peace Keeping. Croatia has gained unique experience on it several peace keeping operations, as well as being a recipient country of peace keeping missions in the past.. Croatia is ready to share this experience with the other UN member states and hopes that it can be used to the benefit of others in practice, and hopes that the UN peacekeeping efforts will continue in the future.

Boy oh Boy...

Today has been great... It has been busy... but I would not have it any other way... I am so lucky you guys! I mean, I am friends with all of you, I have a house to live in, and I do not have to worry about being killed in war... I don’t have to worry about loosing a family member... I don’t have to worry about any threats to my life... Is this not amazing?

It is so amazing to me how we all live in such wonderful times... where so much is available to us, and where I can walk down the street and not worry... I can get on my computer and access the WORLD! Is this not amazing?

We live in a marvelous time... I would not trade it for anything...

Now, we all have our problems... but none of them really matter in the grand spectrum of life... None of us has any real problems... None of us are starving in a third world country... none of us are in country without freedom... We have such blessings...

Now, if we truly think about it... this is what the Christmas season is about... Realizing how blessed and how fortunate we all are. I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas, and remember how lucky we are...
